My wife and I were in the area so we decided to stop at Paul's Pantry for breakfast. Paul's is known for great breakfast. Paul's is a breakfast, lunch restaurant. I ordered the award winning chicken fried steak. My wife got the breakfast burrito. The food was fantastic. But what makes a good restaurant better is GREAT service. Jennifer our waitress, was exceptional. She was so friendly and nice, extremely professional. She came back to check on us and brought extra napkins. She made a good meal even better. I can't say enough about how good she was. We will be coming back and I will ask to sit on Jennifer's station.
I absolutely adore this place. Wonderful staff, yummy food, and my kind of quaint and inviting atmosphere. I don’t need anything fancy, just a place to feel comfortable and welcome. My first time here meeting with 3 girlfriends for breakfast and I’ll definitely be returning. I don’t typically leave reviews, but because I walked away feeling so loved and cared for by the staff and the female manager (owner?) who was beyond kind as she helped me with something without hesitation, I feel privileged to be leaving this review at 12:12am right now. Thank you for a memorable experience and yummy food. I got the scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns and toasts. Simple order but super tasty!

We get excited about going to Paul's. The food is ALWAYS good - there's nothing in the menu that isn't awesome. The cinnamon rolls are jaw dropping. The corned beef hash is the best around. And the ambience reminds you of the old school diners. This is REAL down home cooking!
I got here by opening time and was able to enjoy coffee, gravy biscuits, and eggs. Service was amazing and food wait time was less than 5 minutes. A perfect breakfast to start the work day. I highly recommend Paul's pantry for the grand selection of menu items at affordable pricing. Next time I will bring the spouse in for breakfast time. I'm eager to try the cinnamon rolls for my next visit.
Excellent food and service at this breakfast/brunch spot in Mission Viejo. Not the biggest place inside, but a nice sized patio adds plenty of seating. Great coffee and the chicken fried steak was excellent. Oh and the giant cinnamon bun is not to be missed!!
Really good food, great service, and larger portions that could easily feed 2. Since it was little overcast after raining a little the patio was closed, that would have been really nice especially for my first time here but maybe next time it will be open. The sourdough toast was amazing and the bacon was cooked to perfection.
This is a great breakfast place. They are known for their cinnamon rolls so it's worth giving it a try. The eggs were cooked well and the service was impeccable.
